Choose any of six positions — bottom or top, left, center, or right — and one of four formats: just the number (1, 2, 3), "1 of 12", "Page 1", or "Page 1 of 12". You can also set the starting number, the font size, and the margin from the page edge.
Yes. Turn on "Skip the first page" to leave page one blank; numbering then begins on the second page and the "of N" total is adjusted so it stays accurate.
Yes. The page numbers are drawn as a text layer on top of each existing page, so it works the same whether the PDF contains real text or scanned images. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs are not supported — remove the protection first.
