Frequently asked questions
Each die uses your browser's crypto.getRandomValues, the cryptographic-quality random source modern browsers expose, rather than Math.random. Every die is rolled independently, so a 2d6 roll is two separate draws that are then summed. This is appropriate for tabletop games, picking winners, or any non-security use.
Set any number of sides from 2 up to 1000, so you can roll a coin-like d2, the standard d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, and d20, or unusual dice like a d100. Quick-preset buttons cover the common polyhedral set, and you can roll 1 to 100 dice at once.
The result panel lists every individual die's face value in roll order and then the total, which is the sum of all the dice. For example, rolling 3d6 might show 1, 6, 4 with a total of 11.
No. The roller runs entirely in your browser. The dice count, side count, and the values rolled never leave this page, and nothing is stored or transmitted.
